Paul Tabraham
Greetings!
My name is Paul, and I'm delighted to be joining the Wey Valley Circuit in September 2026 as Superintendent Minister.
I'm married to Claire and have two grown up sons, Matt and Evan. Although it's a fresh move and a new experience for me being Superintendent, as a family we previously lived in Surrey for years and have many friend and family connections here.
My professional background before Methodist ministry was social work. I became a minister in 2014 and served in Eastbourne for twelve years.
As a minister you'll find me encouraging churches and congregations to be inclusive, to be involved in the community they're a part of, and be ready to welcome friend and stranger alike. I'm passionate that our worship be joyful and relevant to the world we're in. I am particularly fond of Iona hymns and prayers, and worship I lead will often have a balance of modern and traditional. Pastoral ministry is very important to me and I enjoy being alongside others whether within or outside of church life.
My hope is that here in Wey Valley we will worship and share fellowship, and day by day grow together in faith and love.
My off-duty day is Friday.
