InFormation is a regional day conference for pioneers in the south of England. The day is designed to resource, inspire and refresh participants in their journey as pioneers. The focus is primarily on helping us form as pioneers and disciples of Jesus.

This year our focus is on worship and discipleship — our own and those we are leading in mission. It is all about learning to connect with God and agree with Him. What helps us grow as pioneers and disciples? How are we helping our new communities of faith grow in ways that are faithful, yet imaginative and contextual? How do we adapt and grow as communities of disciples, particular with those new to faith and new to church? How can we disciple communities that make disciples?

Our main resources for the day to help us answer these questions will be the stories and experience of pioneers. So we look forward to a creative blend of inspiring stories and experiential workshops in the context plenty of space and time for conversation and connection.
Our main speaker is Matt Finch, Pioneering & Church Planting Officer for the Methodist Church. We have worship curated by Play Chants and workshops lead by Graham Horsley, Methodist Connexional Fresh Expressions Missioner & Danny Wignall, Mission Adviser in the Diocese of Guildford. The day also includes conversations on Worship & Contemplation, Formation for Leadership and Discipleship on the Edge and a festival feel outside space where you can experience the ministry of Take Time, Ruach Cards & Elemental.

It will again be held in Salisbury Arts Centre, this year on Monday, June 10th.

It's THE gathering point for those in the Southern & Islands Region who are involved in fresh ways of being church, of every stream and denomination — a tribal gathering!

Our theme for 2019 is Worship and Discipleship.

The day includes:

  • insights from Rev'd Matt Finch, the Pioneering and Church Planting Officer for the Methodist Church
  • experiential opportunities with Play Chants, Take Time, Ruach Cards, Elemental and The Coracle
  • workshops on Emotionally Healthy Leadership, Coaching for Pioneers, Simple Worship for Fresh Expressions
  • conversations on Worship & Contemplation, Formation for Leadership and Discipleship on the Edge.
