A Bright Succession, a Methodist Heritage conference to celebrate the 350th anniversary of Susanna Wesley's birth will explore Susanna's legacy today, touching on a range of issues linking gender, faith and heritage.
President Designate Revd Dr Barbara Glasson is the keynote speaker. Methodist scholar Charles I Wallace, editor of From A Mother's Pen and international expert on Susanna Wesley's writings, is the special guest from Williamette University, Oregon.
The conference will be held at the University of Lincoln on 12-14 July 2019, with day delegate rates available. In addition to speakers, the programme includes Evensong at Lincoln Cathedral and an excursion to Epworth Old Rectory for open air communion and an evening garden party.
