Modern Slavery, Spot it-Stop it: this is the message from the Surrey Anti-Slavery Partnership and Buckinghamshire & Surrey Trading Standards is spreading in their webinar on Anti-Slavery Day 18 October at 2.00pm to 3.00pm.
This free webinar is aimed at businesses (although anyone can attend) and explains how you can play your part in checking the supply chain is slavery free. There will be a speaker who has found 100's of cases of modern slavery affecting 1000's of victims and who inspires others to tackle this abhorrent crime.
Another presenter will highlight the crime behind the bargain, highlighting that cheap 'bargains' might come at a price!
