"CRANLEIGH'S CAPTAIN TOM"

JOHN MENLOVE CHARITY SPONSORED WALK

90 year old John Menlow, a member of Cranleigh Rotary will be doing a ten-day sponsored walk around the cricket green, Cranleigh Common each weekday starting MONDAY 20TH JULY AT 10am to FRIDAY 31ST JULY. Joh aims to complete at least one circuit of the cricket green every weekday. .

JOHN WHO LIVES BY THE COMMON IS A WELL KNOWN PERSONALTY IN CRANLEIGH.

John says, "I try to exercise every day come rain or shine but this will be a challenge for me. If I can do more than 10 laps over the 10 days I will".

JOHN WILL BE SUPPORTED BY MEMBERS OF CRANLEIGH ROTARY.

The money from the walk will be donated to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care.

Visit Cranleigh Common from Monday 20th July to Thursday 30th July between 10am & 11am, or Friday 31st July at 2pm. John & Cranleigh Rotary will be happy to see you, at a "social distance" at any of these times and accept donations.
