Walton Methodist Church are recruiting a Children and Youth Worker.

  • Do you have a heart and passion to bring the gospel to young people?
  • Are you a motivated self-starter and encourager with a flair for creative thinking to inspire, mentor and support our young people in their exploration of the Christian faith?

Some Background....
Over the last few years, Walton-on-Thames Methodist Church has witnessed a resurgence in the numbers of young people regularly attending our morning worship. In response to this, monthly activity sessions have been organised to complement our Sunday morning Sunday School lessons. These have offered their young people a chance to socialise, develop bonds and thrive in a Christian environment. For their younger children, they have developed a successful Messy Church programme.

They are now looking for someone to take this to the next stage, to be on the front-line of delivering excellent youth work for their young people.
