This year's ArtServe Festival will be held at High Leigh, Broxbourne, Herts, EN11 8SG and will run from Friday 14 to Sun 16 October 2022.

Arrivals will be from 4pm Friday, to gather in welcome groups before 6.45pm supper and departures will be at 4pm Sunday after closing worship. The nearest station is Broxbourne. The all-inclusive cost per person (en suite rooms) is £220 single, £200 double. and discounts are available for ArtServe members, groups of 6 or more and families. There are also non-residential day rates here.

The theme is "Re-creation".

Comedian Paul Kerensa headlines the festival, giving the Saturday evening entertainment and leading a creative writing workshop. His writing credits include sitcoms Miranda and Not Going Out, and the book "So a comedian walks into church".

There are 6 other workshop topics on offer, with 3 workshop slots on the Saturday. These include music with Sue Frost, digital doodling with Andrew Pratt, and Bible journalling with Ramona Samuel.

Andrew Brazier, actor and Methodist minister, leads the drama workshop, and Jo Richards the ecology-themed dance one. In an addition, Rob Newton explores singing old hymns to new settings.

Methodist minister Nel Shallow is again the Festival chaplain, creating a prayer space for quiet reflection. On Sunday the closing worship is devised in groups and drawn together after lunch.
