Addlestone Methodist Church is a friendly church situated on the main street; Station Road. The church has served the community in Addlestone since 1899 and until recently hosted both the food bank and the toy library. It is a measure of the local demographic that both of these facilities have now moved to larger premises in the Addlestone church community.
In pre-Covid times visitors and new members were very welcome at the Sunday Service which took place at 10.30am. Refreshments were served after the service. Addlestone is now hosting a monthly virtual zoom service and the church is open for a Holy Communion service every other month; all are joint services with Weybridge. We continue to join Weybridge for all other services. We send hard copies of the Worship at home sheets, prayer guidance and Pastoral letters to our non-internet users.
We are open for private prayer Saturdays 10.30am — noon.
The Church hosts the uniformed organisations of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.
Bear Hugs, a children nursery which offers places to 2 — 4 year olds, meets in the church hall daily from 9.30 am — 3.30 pm.
